Philia, 2018

Philia is a series of black and white photographic portraits representing women of my social sphere. The motivation for this work is a continuous quest to investigate the self, trying to understand the essence of being and our close links to others. While creating these portraits I was challenged to reflect on friendship; exploring the idea of a friend as another self, an alter-ego.
